So today
Second period I was in fashion class and that’s the period we hear any announcements for the day. Our GSA is now having “word of the day” read over the announcements. Todays word was transgender. I liked how we were now going to educate people. The girls in my class were all lmfao ew what’s tommorrow? Hermaphrodite? Lady Gaga. I was like WTF?!? Then they were talking about how this attractive guy was in fashion last year and stuff and they were all like why was he in it? Who would he talk to? This class is all girls. I’m just like…. Really? Maybe he likes designing clothes? You don’t have to be gay or ugly to be a fashion designer. In fact on project runway one year there was a straight guy with wife and kids. Fashion is a form of art. Just because it doesn’t fit YOUR boxed in view of the world doesn’t mean it isn’t right. People just spew out ideas that were TOLD to them as they don’t question things, form an opinion of their own. Before you judge something get to know it. I was just completely appalled at the ignorance.
